In recent years we have experienced a reality for all creatures on planet Earth a catastrophic consequence in the annihilation of the only hope to live, oxygen. Through the arrogant way of people, basic values want to be trampled and absolutism, terrorism, rioting, disappearance of freedom and uniqueness to dominate.
A species that has been fighting for many years not to disappear is the special Kakapos parrot. It is the direct rendering of the word kākāpō, of the indigenous New Zealand Maori, and comes from the words kākā "parrot" + pō "night".
Having lost its ability to fly, the kakapo has developed powerful legs. A total of 124 birds live, 60 females and 64 males. Kakapo live on the ground, lead a twilight and nocturnal lifestyle, can climb trees and have very strong and fast feet. During the day, the kakapo hides in burrows or rock crevices. One of the unusual characteristics of the kakapo is its strong but pleasant smell, similar to flowers and honey or beeswax.
